Salary range:  The full salary range for this role is $64,000 to $106,500.  The target range for this position is $78,000 to $90,000.  We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.

 

Summary: 

This position works closely with various departments throughout the organization with respect to the drafting needs of Land Contracts, Leases, Easements, and Purchase Agreements in compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Drafts agreements including leases, lease amendments, easements, purchase agreements, and other land related documents.
  • Works with internal/external counsel; keeping in compliance with corporate policies and procedures while balancing unique needs of differing jurisdictions. 
  • Reviews commercial lease terms, analyzes and interprets provisions. 
  • Organizes and manages contract review and the approval and execution process for 50-100 contracts, leases, and purchase agreements that are in process at any given time. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial leasing and purchasing. 
  • BA or equivalent experience; renewable energy/cell tower experience helpful. 
  • Real estate paralegal certificate or 5 years’ experience with real estate documents preferred.
  • Experience in conducting due diligence for property acquisitions (review of leases, title reports, environmental reports, surveys, etc.). 
  • Must have experience drafting and redlining real estate documents.
