Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $151,800 - $253,000 annually.  The target range has been set at $200k - $220k.   We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.

 

The Director - Digital Delivery is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) and ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects across the organization. This individual will , methodologies, and governance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. They will play a critical role in managing the project portfolio, reporting on project status, and mitigating risks to ensure alignment with IT and business objectives.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Project Management Office Leadership 

  • Oversee the PMO, setting strategic direction and priorities.
  • Develop and implement project management standards, guides, and templates.
  • Ensure PMO delivers value to the organization through effective project delivery and resource management.

Project Delivery and Governance 

  • Lead the planning and execution of a portfolio of IT projects.
  • Establish governance structures to support project decision-making and prioritization.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.

Portfolio Management and Reporting 

  • Manage the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Provide regular status reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

Risk Management and Compliance 

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the project portfolio.
  • Ensure projects comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Develop risk management plans and strategies.

Team Leadership and Development 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and support staff.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the PMO.
  • Recruit and retain top talent to build a high-performing team.

 

Other duties as assigned

Supervision of Others: This position will eventually have direct reports.

 

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Professional certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within a PMO.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex digital projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.

 Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Ability to drive digital transformation and manage change in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in project management software and applications.

 Physical Requirements: 

 

Working Conditions:

80% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 20% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
