Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $93,400 to $155,700 annually. The target range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.
Scope of Job: The Land Agent, Land Acquisition will be primarily responsible for negotiating and securing land agreements in field-based land acquisition to support project development pipeline goals and support field based land needs for projects in implementation and operations phase. The Land Agent is also responsible for land acquisition negotiations, assisting in obtaining curative agreements, developing, and maintaining relationships with local officials or stakeholders, conducting update meetings for stakeholders, and project reporting at the direction of a Manager, Land Acquisition.
This position is remote from the NE Region (PA, NY, MA, VT, CT, RI).
Responsibilities:
Supervision of Others: None
Working Conditions: 25% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 75% of time is spent outside of the office visiting landowners’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
Fiscal Responsibilities: Forecasting and reporting on the land acquisition budget for assigned projects.
