Position Overview

Responsible for managing and approving purchase requisitions and issuing purchase orders for the fulfillment of services and non-inventory materials needed in support of EDFps operations in the US and Canada. The Buyer 1 will apply existing Agreements or a quote and order process to ensure the organization has the right services and non-inventory materials at the right price and right time while enforcing procurement policies and compliance requirements.

Manage and issue purchase orders and change orders directly to vendors in accordance with company policy and compliance requirements.

Education/Experience: 

• Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent experience and training in the supply chain field or related area.
• Experience with ERP systems required.
• SAP or similar experience required.
• Functional knowledge and experience in MS Office required.

• Ability to write, format, and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.

• Maintain purchasing information, files, and records. Ability to resolve pricing, shipping, and invoicing issues in a timely manner.
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to perform a variety of tasks.
• Adheres to Company policies, purchasing processes and procedures.

This role’s annual base salary range is between $58,400.00 and $97,400.00. The target range for this position is $70,110 to $81,795 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.

• Combination of sitting/standing for extended periods of time at a computer typing and using a mouse

Working Conditions:

• 100% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 0% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
