Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $83,000 - $138,400 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors such as internal equity, candidate work and/leadership experience, educational credentials, and in some cases, candidate work location.
Scope of Job: The Smart Grid Analyst is responsible for supporting the Power Grid activities of the EDF Innovation Lab and for delivering analysis to our customers. This role leads the research activities within the EDF Innovation Lab and manages the collaboration on various technical topics. The Smart Grid Analyst advises internal clients and uses experience to support the creation of compelling industry visions. Areas include DER integration, grid interconnection rules, use of storage systems for grid applications, microgrids, DERMS, SCADA automation, etc.).
As a key member of the Smart Grid team at the EDF Innovation Lab, this role works with other international centers based in Europe and Asia to leverage expertise within the EDF Group working as part of a great adventure that supports the energy transition toward a safe and zero carbon system.
This role reports directly to the Smart Grid Program Manager and works as part of the EDF Innovation Lab.
Responsibilities:
Supervision of Others: This role has no direct reports.
Working Conditions: 90% of time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 10% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in additional to attending various conferences and meetings.
This job is a hybrid position with 3 days a week minimum in the office.
