Salary range: The full pay range for this role is $28.65 to $47.74 per hour, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on level offered. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Summary:
The Support Services Wind Technician, under specific direction from the Support Services Manager, maintains equipment, including but not limited to preventive maintenance and repairs as needed. This field technician will be expected to travel for extended periods of time working on EDFps projects as needed. When the Support Services Wind Technician is not traveling, he/she will be based at his/her assigned home site and will be directed by the Site Manager for that site.
Required Training: Each Renewable Energy Technician will attend mandatory five (5) week training and certification course at the start of their employment. The exact duration will be determined based on experience and qualifications. The training is in Albert Lea, MN, and travel, accommodation, and expenses will be provided.
This position requires up to 85% travel.
Working Conditions:
100% of time is spent working in the renewable asset field. There is also marginal time spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment.
This position requires working on platforms or skids, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, and the repetitive use of legs, arms, hands, and fingers. The employee will work eight (8) hours a day, forty (40) hours a week, and overtime and night shifts as required.

Due to weight restrictions associated with life-saving fall-arrest equipment employees are required to wear
while working at heights, maximum employee weight must not exceed 285 lbs. Employee weight subject to
review at any time throughout the duration of employment and required annually at a minimum.
