Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $22.69 to $47.74 per hour, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $27.00 to $38.00 per hour. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Scope of Job: We are seeking dedicated and talented individuals for roles ranging from experienced Technician 2 to expert Technician 5 to perform maintenance, repair, and operational activities on utility-scale renewable energy assets, including wind turbines, Photovoltaic (PV) power systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Required Training: Each Renewable Energy Technician will attend a mandatory 3-4 week training and certification course at the start of their employment. The exact duration will be determined based on experience and qualifications. The training is in Albert Lea, MN, and travel, accommodation, and expenses will be provided.
This position is onsite in Altoona, PA.
The level of autonomy, technical complexity, and leadership responsibility distinctly separates the four technician roles.
