Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $84,700 - $141,100 annually, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $105,000 to $118,000 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Scope of Job:
The Senior Technical Training Specialist – Wind is a vital role within the EDF AO (Asset Optimization) technical training organization, is responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of comprehensive technical training programs for wind turbine technicians and other operational personnel. This role requires an individual with extensive technical knowledge of wind turbines, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to design and implement effective training curricula. In this role the Staff Wind Technical Training Specialist supports a dynamic group of technical instructors that focuses on strategically aligning itself with the Operations & Maintenance of Renewable Assets with a goal of creating the safest most reliable O&M service provider. The Staff Wind Technical Training Instructor main priority is to increase employee’s safety and productivity by designing, developing, and delivering best in industry training and on the job support solutions. In this role he or she will interact with other training organizations throughout EDF Renewables to ensure all training needs for the EDF AO Operations & Maintenance employees are achieved.

Working Conditions:
80% of time is spent in the classroom or training facility, with regular hands-on training sessions conducting training. 20% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendors’ and/or internal customers’ sites in addition to attending various conferences and meetings.
