Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $84,700 to $141,100 annually, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $101,6010 to $118,454 annually. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Scope of Job: The Procurement Manager will lead and support the procurement of equipment for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) team of the Company’s distribution-scale power business unit as they plan and execute 5-150 MW solar and storage projects. The Procurement Manager is a central point of collaboration between development, engineering, and project management teams. Equipment will include all long lead, major equipment, materials and supplies. Primary activities are equipment supplier strategy, evaluation, RFP process & administration, analysis, negotiation and contracting. The Procurement Manager will report to the General Manager.
This is a Hybrid role based in Columbia, MD.
Working Conditions: 90% of time is spent in the office environment utilizing computers (frequent use of various Microsoft software/programs), phones, and general office equipment. 10% of time is spent outside of the office visiting vendor and/or internal customer sites in addition to attending various conferences and meetings.
Fiscal Responsibilities: Assure equipment cost aligns with project budgets.
Education/Experience:
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long periods in an office environment. Ability to traverse construction project sites with varying terrain and weather conditions.
